I really love this room - The speakers are especially nice. I would have a rug on the floor infant of those SHL5+'s though .
The center of command.... I ordered the 'upgrade' schiit remote for the saga because a. It is cheap and b. It looks better. One has to put more pressure on these buttons though and I actually prefer the buttons of the cheapo plastic rc. As I got this remote I was looking for a way to change the batteries but couldn't find a way to open it, so I thought it was a 'throwaway' (battery empty=bin it!). But Googling pointed out that it is magnetically held together and you have to push something through the tiny hole at the back to open it and get to the battery.
really nice- bet it sounds great! one suggestion- move the coltrane picture away from the back of the speaker on the left if you can- right now it is acting as a reflector for midrange frequencies that radiate behind the speaker and might cause the sound to be unbalanced left to right.
Can I ask how the Kinki plays the bass on the Harbeth? Do you find it ok, have heard it has a tight bass, some find it too tight on some speakers, have Graham 5/9 myself, therefore my interest.
How about two more plinths for those amplifiers and then moving the turntable back up top? Great system, BTW.
The integrated looks way better with the cover on. More folks should use theirs. Exposed tubes are ugly!
