The lamp was purchased for $5 at a San Francisco yard sale 20-odd years ago.

The curtains were sewed by my daughter. :)

Thanks, and yes, they're all DIY, made my first one 30+ years ago. All the shelves are 1" furniture grade Birch veneer plywood. The equipment rack uses 3/4" threaded rod, the media shelves 5/8".

Wow, that‘s a great turntable. The Reloop is a somewhat cheap direct drive Technics clone, but can play 78s. Always fascinating to see him reach full speed after one half rotation.

What Ortofon cart will you install?

How do you stop the (long) shelves (with cds and dvds) from sagging in the middle ? Are they supported somewhere in the middle/back ? I ask because I have made quite a few shelvings in exactly the same way, but using mdf instead of plywood, and sagging was a problem with one of the longer ones because it wasn't supported in the middle ...

I REALLY like those surrounds for your record players! Any chance you could post a few more close up, detailed pics of how they look and fit from different angles, especially the rear? I’m getting a Technics SL1210GR soon and I’d love to get something similar for that...

The Photobucket water stamp sure knows how to ruin good photos. :sigh:

I agree! That wasn't always the case, but I haven't used it in a long time. Suspect if I paid Photobucket they'd go away, but for just a few pics is crazy.

Do you recommend an alternative these days?

Imgur is not bad, as others have pointed out.

And it’s not just your photos, it’s almost all photos posted here from the bucket. Their watermark has an uncanny....and annoying.....ability to appear in some of the worst places in a picture.

It's really not acceptable at all. They could make the advertising watermark so much smaller and place it at the edge of the picture, which would still be easily seen, they have four choices. It's so oversized and they know where it's placed, they are going to block a good portion of every picture, I changed a long time ago, and at that time they stopped hosting ANY photographs for free, even with their terrible watermark, without paying lots of money for their service. No Photobucket for me! :tsk:
