I've always liked the looks of those NLA's, although I have yet to try out a set. Unsurprisingly, I have plenty of experience with other "Cambridge/Boston school" speakers (KLH, AR, Boston Acoustics, ADS) though.
They project a surprisingly tall sound stage for being on the floor and for aesthetic reasons they'll have to remain that way.
Oh man ! That looks so cool ! I started into this hobby in the mid seventies and the Pioneers were highly desirable objects back then.

Updated speakers and rack layout- no more stuff behind doors. playing more CDs and digital files. Getting extremely close to being finished....
Thank you to all for the nice compliments. You're right, the rug is a little large! Yesterday's additions make this a great Saturday afternoon... IMG_1753 (002) by , on Flickr
So this isn't my system but it is my amp, on the top shelf, took it into Deja Vu Audio for a checkup last weekend. My rectifier went out with a flash and took the fuse out. No other damage Vu popped a new fuse and rectifier in and here it is driving a pair of AN-K's. I also picked my AN Dac-3 Sig up with the output caps upgraded to AN copper foil, snapped a pic of the new caps whilst the top was off.
Beautiful. Vu does great work and I always enjoy going in there. His new place is great. Really lucky to have his mono blocs and one of his and Aldo’s pre-amps.
Traded in my CM2....ahhhh the dreaded task of burning everything in. I think i need larger artwork. Hmmmm.
