Otari, Studer, Akai, Teac, and Tascam reel to reel machines for 7 1/2" and 15ips tapes, Radu Tarta preamp with 101d and 26 type tubes, -James Burgess 45, 46, 2a3, 6bq5, and Pass clones including Aleph3, and J2 type amplifiers -custom 104db efficient horn speakers with 2” Eliptrac 400 wooden horns, tweeters, crites cast woofers, Townshead super tweeters, and custom ALK crossovers.

This system has real synergy.

Wow! Just curious how many drives do you keep 50TB's on?

 

Nice but being a bachelor, there should be NO mess, especially the socks, man.

 

All lighting voice controlled for brightness, dimming, and color changes.

 

Currently I have six 10TB drives for the music . All high res no mp3's. I use Foobar2000 and Audirvana (which allows me to use my Tidal and Qobuz subscriptions if I choose). There's also a server with around 20 terabytes of movies through a separate system with six Pioneer full range speakers and Klipsch subwoofers running KODI but I dont' watch movies as often as I probably should.

 

Is this the final destination? Amp? Yep. Speakers? Very strong possibility. Although I'm happy with my cheap dac, thinking I'll try an r2r dac just to see.

 

Looks fantastic, and I always like when I see other people with tape on their floor; makes me feel less neurotic...

 

Are we to understand you have 60TB of music?
