I’m trying my MC225 with a Freya, surprising preamp.

 

So cozy and beautiful. Love your photography too. Good contrast, deep shadows and colors.

 

It really is. With my Parasound amps I enjoy the tubes, but with the MC60s I find the passive to be better to my ears.

they are a great speaker. there are others out there you might like. when you are ready to upgrade look me up. i’ll help you find something. otherwise, enjoy what you have!

Real unimpressive in comparison to some of the stuff going on here but here's my new PL12D with Shure M95ED, freshly serviced, sounds great.

 

Nice system, the Audio Research preamp adds a tough of class.

 

That was my first TT bought secondhand around 1986, Happy memories. No idea what happened to it!
