    what kind of isolation block is that under your tower, please?
    i imagine it works well over carpet.
    are any rubber nubs between the tower and block? im always looking for isolation.

    Thanks! The house is a WWII era home. All the wood is Douglas Fir, including the floor, subfloor, stringers, beams, walls and roof!! Makes for a great acoustic space. We have spent the last couple of years renovating and we are getting close to completion of the main floor. Just need to source a nice slab of lumber for the fireplace mantel.

    Thanks so much for the compliments. Both my wife and I are very happy in this house. We've lived here for a dozen years and have been slowly picking away at renovations. I have no plans on moving unless required for some unforeseen circumstance. Having a good hifi and a cozy room to listen to it in is essential for Canadian winters!!

    im normally a stout kinda guy but my som turned me onto this and its right good.
    there's a brewery(im in maryland, usa) a few miles from that brews a devilish
    one called lord farquad, barrel-aged in rum-infused wine barrels. 9.8/10.

    the SS AR1 and SS AR2 are incredible speakers. if i wasn't a SET tube nut i would have a pair of either of those Sony's and call it a day / life.
