Thanks. When I listen after work vinyl is ~ 80%. During the day while working I stream radio from the Sony HAP.
My 15-year-old daughter mainly subsists on Spotify/Airpods but recently requested a turntable and I was happy to oblige. Brought my KAB SL-1200 MkII out of its recent retirement wielding the Audio-Technica AT-VM95EN that came stock on my Schiit Sol and the KEF Q100s came up from the basement. Digital source is one of my 2011-vintage Squeezebox Touch that she'd been using with a pair of JBL LSR 305. All hooked up to an NAD C 316BEE V2. Bought those IsoAcoustics stands at goodwill for $4 each on a whim a few months ago with no use for them but they do usefully decouple the speaker vibrations from the dresser. Those and the Isonoe footers make LP playback pretty shake-proof.
I like it a lot but still getting used to it! Follow the thread here if you like... Pass Labs XA25 Anyone?
No, not an improvement unfortunately, just good fun. The Muzishare sounds great, but can't beat my Decware amps for moderate to low listening levels. And the 1229 is a definite step down from my RP3 with ttpsu and Groovetracer upgrades. It's a bit wooly and has pitch/speed issues, among other problems, lol. Quite the looker, though.
Thanks! It's a Leroy Neiman serigraph from 1961 (same age as me) titled The Stags Head - Dame Court, Dublin. I bought it in 1993. It's always been one of my favorite pieces of art.
