I wish this site had a "like" button like on Facebook, might save a lot of space too, when people could simply like something instead of writing a message, just a thought.

I don't. I think half the fun is reading what people like about a certain sytem/room.

nah, i couldn't afford those, and even if i could,
i personally find them, like pretty much ALL modern loudspeaker systems,
    to be quite Fugly.

i'm just not a fan of "True High-End Audio"
as far as me and PIONEER speaker systems go,
if i ever move up from my current CS-G503s, it'll be to the classic DSS-9.
    yep, i'm afraid that i happen to like my "Monkey Coffins" just fine;

I have heard the TADs for two years running and they would be on my short list if I had $30K. The sound wonderful. Very natural even with Bel Canto electronics.

MacGuyver, they are far from fugly. They have a gorgeous sapele finish.

Agreed. When you get up close to them and examine the finish, it's as fine as can be. Beautiful Chinese woodworking, amazing laquer.

TAD make some pretty impressive amps too and a fine SACD player.

MacGyver, one would think that a Pioneer fan such yourself would aspire to the very best that company makes.

Well I am not over enthusiastic about the looks of the speakers shown by TAD and the big one's shown by MacGuyver have that trusty no nonsense in ya face wobbly 12" bassy oomph experience with a grilled 1" horn on the side I can dig from time to time.
Bet they throw a nice kicking punch and a fine jab on top..
The stands are the problem, plus the form and that ugly chassis from the woofers... NAH gimme Sonus Faber - AMATIS or Focal BE Ultras , B&W 805D's etc when it comes to stand mounts .
Sorry TAD back to the drawing boards, but you can leave me the AYRE Mono blocks so long..lol.
Speakers that don't sound great powered by AYRE are complete mis-concepts..

Sorry I been out of the loop regarding Pioneer. I see TAD stands for Technical Audio Devices Laboratories.
I thought Pioneer's flagship products was Elite. Is this something recent? Was this something they acquired or did they create another higher end division?

Are we going to see new system photos or talk about Pioneer speakers the rest of the way?

I won't bore you with pictures of the front, everything looks the same as when i last posted it.
