Nice effect the lamp gives with nigh time listening

 

Some amplifiers are sitting where the turntable normally goes, but this has been a great light for its purpose.
I need the light to set the strobe disk on my Lenco.

 

That looks great, love the unearthly glow.
I'm going to turn the lights off and play a green vinyl record tonight. Pics to follow....

I just bought a new lamp: Lampe Gras - N°226 by DCW …and turntable is Bauer Audio DPS 3

 

I use the same LED lights I have over my record shelves. There is a small Greenlee flexible LED light I use for stylus illumination when inspecting it that you can see poking in from the right side.

This is one of my favorite threads.

 

I haven't figured out how I'm going to spotlight my turntable in its new home. The wife commandeered my previous lamp, which appears earlier in this thread. This is taken with an Artemide Tolomeo Micro table lamp on the left speaker.

 

This light is designed to go behind a picture.

 

^^ I had one of those Pioneer decks for a while - loved it! Shame the electronics gave up on me . . . .

Ever try to get the Denon Cover back on? I finally figured it was meant to be and left it off its hinges.
Sounds much better with it off anyway.

 

The cover slides on and off the hinges real easily. Though, I just place the cover over the turntable and lift it off when I play records.

 

This is an antique surgeon's lamp from a ship that was restored. It has a green filter which gives a very revealing cast to the light, and enhances visibility of the record surfaces.
