Well, for one it only has IEC receptacles so you'll need power cords terminated for them, instead of the normal three-prong wall plug.

The science of electrical engineering lol. Like how creating a filter centered around an inductor, capacitors and a resistor or two can effectively neutralize potential AC surges.

You might consider one of these, a Tripp-Lite RS-0615-R : it's a rack-mountable power strip with six rear facing outlets. At Amazon for about $53:

I mounted one of these units under a shelf in the stereo cabinet and then plugged all stereo items into the strip. The power strip has an illuminated power switch, so I can tell from across the room if it's on or not; when I'm done listening to music, I turn off the power strip and I know every one of my stereo components is now off. Plus, all the components' power cords are now fairly organized rather than being a rat's nest behind the cabinet. It also has a grounding lug to which I ground all components which are 'ground-able'; more details here:

I picked up a Furman PST-8d recently. I like it. It can be wall mounted but also has rubber feet for sitting on the floor. Has 8ft. cord

  9. Wiremold—and their sister brand, Legrand—are a bit more expensive than they used to be because they are made in the USA and labor costs (more likely, pension costs) have been rising. However, you get what you pay for. They are commercial units that are built to last.

I have one of these as well. Initially had it with my stereo system, but switched it to the home theater system where it did wonders for my TV picture quality.

BTW, I only moved it on as I decided to get one of the Furnan Elite units instead. I have those in two different stereo systems.

If anyone is interested in the higher end Wiremold power strip from AV Options, they are having a 20% sale on their power products through Monday (6/24). I've needed another Wiremold and thought about buying one on Amazon for $130, but since I unexpectedly sold some high end Dynaudio Esotar2 tweeters this morning I decided to use some of that money for the AV Options Super Wiremold. They are a certified Naim specialist/repair, and test their stuff for it.

I think you can try another one. I am using a Cube Power Outlet Extender with 3 outlets and 3 USB outlets . It's amazing, because it can save a lot of space .

I use a transparent power conditioner/surge protector - works fine. Can I tell a difference in sound? nope, that part is snake oil for me it seems. And apparently Transparent is very well regarded. so it's probably just me.

If you just want a basic, heavy strip like the Wiremold, I can recommend this one from Harbor Freight. I wouldn’t always say this fro their stuff, but I have several of these I use for many things and they are very well made.
6 Outlet Heavy Duty Power Strip with Metal Housing

For something a bit heavier duty, I might recommend this unit from Monoprice. It is filtered, but not limited. Its designed to sequence pro amps, and a bargain for what it is.

These might be fine for many but are still different from the Wiremold because they have circuit breakers and/or power conditioners. The whole point of the Wiremold – at least with Naim users – is that it is just a straight connection with no circuitry to limit or affect current. Just something to consider.
