Thanks. The Shaftesbury Avenue branch in London said the same thing. I've cancelled my Amazon.de order. It's only a couple of quid cheaper but I'd rather buy it in person and it serves Amazon UK right for selling it for £101.

Yes, I ordered from Deep Discount. It was shipped from Kentucky 10/30/Thursday and I had it USPS at my mailbox/front door by Saturday afternoon, 11/1. Mine was shipped in a cardboard sleeve kind of box and arrived in great shape.

 

Fopp in the UK are apparently retailing the Vinyl set for £25.00

 

Amazon is apparently going to start shipping at 8 p.m. (CST) tonight...if my order isn't showing up as "shipped" by 8:30, I might cancel! They're cutting it too close for comfort.

Was there a Best Buy sale flyer today in the newspaper? I am curious what they will charge for the 2CD set.

 

The Best Buy flyer didn't include any mention of this set. Although they did have room to include the McCartney/Wings re-issues.

It will certainly be on sale. The list price is $19.99, right? I figure it will be around $15.99.

 

ccmusic stil shows me on backorder but the page says "in stock". So much for good service. Plus my Miles Davis LP was sent in a shoddy mailer and the spine was damaged.

 

Mine likely lands tomorrow, since it left Louisville (right up the road), yesterday morning, and it is Two Day Priority.

 

But you won't listen to it until Tuesday, right, as a sympathetic gesture to us Amazon customers, right?

First they hit your card ( have you checked that ? )
Next the status doesn't change for hours, but all but two buttons will disappear to the right, leaving a Tracking button, and a Cancellation button.
Next the status will say Shipping Soon...
you know the rest.

Heck with it -- I just cancelled my Am_zon order, and went with importcds at a savings of $21.00, even after paying IL sales tax.
