Price watch - Bob Dylan and The Band Complete Basement Tapes

My two disc shipped today from amazon.com and my deluxe box shipped today from amazon.ca (got the good deal, 91 bucks, shipping included). Listening to Tempest, just because! I'll have the two disc tomorrow.

 

BlowItOutaHere order arrived today. Not awesome packing, but not bad at all. Very Amazon-like; oversized box (at least 4 times as big as it needed to be) filled with airbags. Not as secure as I'd like, but packed tightly enough that there's no sign of bump damage.

Now the tough part; can I stick to the original plan of handing this to my wife as a Christmas gift for me...

 

My deluxe box actually just shipped a few minutes ago, and now I can finally relax.
$98 and it will be here by Friday night.

I'll be at Best Buy tomorrow morning at 9am. Hoping amazon drops their price a bit more, but either way, I'll get Best Buy to price match.

 

Amazon.ca shipped mine out this afternoon. I probably won't get to hear it for a week.

 

Even the outer box is impressive. Thick, and sturdy. A beautiful boxed set.

 

Amazon.ca shipped the deluxe box last night via UPS. It's in Fort Erie, ON right now and should be delivered on Thursday. It was certainly worth waiting a few extra days to get it for 91.06 shipped.

 

Importcds.com shipped last Thursday and rec'd yesterday, Nov. 3rd via USPS.

I just picked up a copy and got the price matched with no questions asked, saving $38.84!

Acoustic Sounds has the 24/44.1 lossless digital download of the Complete set for $24.98 (139 tracks only, liner notes NOT included). Not sure if that is a pricing error on this 6 disc set or what, but that seems to be a mighty fine deal so I would move quickly if that appeals to you.

 

I'm seeing the 139 track version at $59.98. Perhaps it was a mistake and has been corrected in the past 3 hours.

For me amazon us is only $11 more than my amazon.ca order, taking into account tax, etc. Probably worth the extra cost for amazon us, shorter delivery distance (lower risk of damage), earlier arrival, easier to exchange, autorip....

 

Did everyone's from CCMusic arrive ok? Mine just got here, all corners dented and one corner that looks like a spine split.
