it has been a long time since i posted here. it's not that i'm not getting promo's, i'm still getting tons of them, and haven't had a time to list and go through. which i'm finally doing now. one of very important note to me: ======================== i've had this on my wishlist for 5 years, and its never been sold. Frazier Chorus – Walking On Air (1991, CD) Frazier Chorus – Walking On Air Label: Virgin – VSCDX 1330 Format: CD, Single, Promo Country: UK & France Released: 1991 Genre: Electronic Style: Synth-pop TracklistShow Credits 1 Walking On Air 3:51 2 Walking On Air (Album Version) 3:01 3 Walking On Air (Extended Mix) 6:20 4 40 Winks (Extended) 4:25 Total Time: 17:37 so i didn't think it would come up, i've been trying to get about 20 items from frazier chorus to finish up what i can of collecting them. anyways, one day last month, i was just randomly checking, and it came up! so i purchased it right away. after that, i ended up getting as many of the other items, with the last one showing up today. (or so i thought), there's actually 1 more promo on its way. ==================================== there are 17 main items listed for the group: [no comps, or anything else, although i have most of those too] Frazier Chorus 108 items (including digital), i have 103 of them, with 1 more coming. i guess, i'll post something when i get that promo CD too. well, it's been a fun ride and i have leads possibly on 2 more of those items, so that leaves 2 to be 'complete'. later -1

I notice the CD mentions Ian Broudie. He's on Twitter (follows me for some reason) - maybe he can assist with your quest.
Thanks but as of now, that number is down to 4. I found 16 of them. And I'm getting one more, so the number will become 3 very shortly. never could understand why they didn't put actual remixes on this promo instead of just the edit and LP version.
The Drizabone one? Was that the only one? Entering uncharted territory for me here but I thought I had heard there was a 7" remix somewhere but of course no 7" ever got released.
The Japanese 3" has the single edit - which I'm sure would have been put out on the 7" vinyl - which is technically an edit of the 12" extended mix which is also on that CD single. The U.S. promo CD, unfortunately, did not include either one of these versions. The "Strange Behaviour" 2 CD collection that -1 refers to didn't come out until 6 years later. So, as of now, the only official release that has the edit of the extended mix is on the Japanese 3". Now, if you want to wade into some murky waters here, there's also an unreleased (official) 7" Master, 7" TV, 12" Master and 12" Instrumental of None of the Above. You can find those versions on an unofficial 12", but the versions are legit.
well, it took me awhile, before my pet shop boys queue came up. but finally got the sampler. it's interesting how they did the artwork, it looks like small glossy squares on the front and back. https://www.discogs.com/Pet-Shop-Boys-Sampler/release/145193 Pet Shop Boys – Sampler Label: Parlophone – PSB 001 Series: Further Listening – Format: CD, Promo, Remastered, Sampler Country: UK Released: 2001 Genre: Electronic, Pop Style: Synth-pop, Disco Tracklist TracklistShow Credits From Please 1 Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money ) (Full Length Original Seven-Inch) 4:36 2 Why Don't We Live Together (Original New York Mix) 5:14 From Actually 3 King's Cross 5:11 4 I Want To Wake Up (Breakdown Mix) 5:59 From Introspective 5 Domino Dancing 7:42 6 So Sorry, I Said (Demo For Liza) 3:26 From Behaviour 7 My October Symphony 5:20 8 Being Boring (Extended Mix) 10:40 From Very 9 The Theatre 5:13 10 Go West (1992 Twelve-Inch Mix) 9:12 From Bilingual 11 The Survivors 4:32 12 Discoteca (Single Version) 5:15 - 13 Always On My Mind (Dub Mix) 2:04 Total Time: 1:14:24 EMI Records Ltd. Score! Signed copy of Brian Wilson's Words and Music promo for his Imagination album. Obvious signature aside, there aren't too many spoken word promo discs I get interested in. This would be one. The Elvis Costello promo for Brutal Youth is for sure another. Not sure it really counts here but I love the Pet Shop Boys Yes song by song discussion. I think that was digital only.
Here's the Elvis Costello disc I mentioned. Very nice to have as Elvis is a good talker and always has interesting insights. Looks to sell pretty cheaply on discogs. Mine doesn't have that faded spine like in these photos. Elvis Costello – Words And Music Label: Warner Bros. Records – PRO-CD-6955 Series: Words And Music – Format: CD, Promo, Sampler Country: US Released: Apr 1994
I just found this a couple of day's ago....also without that faded spine.i found a cool 3 track euro c.d. single by URGE OVERKILL-"DROPOUT" and a 2 track c.d. single of PRINCE-"1999" &" LITTLE RED CORVETTE" just today.

Living in Los Angeles I stumble across promo CDs all the time, usually just the regular CD with a stamp on it and a joke punched in the bar code. My son treats it like a treasure hunt finding promos from punk and metal labels. Discovered a lot of bands there. When we were signed to Cyclops Records we had fun putting exclusive tracks on the promos. There were some really good things on there, great live version of Discipline’s Canto IV on one volume, one of our best tunes (if I do say so myself) called Breathing Deep on another. Fun stuff.
Oh I bet! I'd love to be on the west coast for them, especially one's done for movie/tv (Instrumentals) Seller's from LA is where I've received most of mine from over the years.
Think I mentioned Shiny Toy Guns already, kind of a neat Five Seven design Waiting Alone, 2012. Yep by 2012 Universal Distribution was using Staples CD-R's for their promos And a Rotersand-Electronic World Transmission- Excursions On Truth Is Fanatic EP-2004 -think this may have been a tour promo given out to fans.
