The Turtles Present the Battle of the Bands! White label promos of this exist for East Coast pressings, but for the West Coast, Monarch just slapped some promo text on the standard blue label.
All Day and All of the Night by The Kinks! This one's seen some battle but to think of all the people who heard this song for the first time on the radio from this exact disc gives it a great provenance:
In case you're not familiar with radio lingo on promo records, the "NT" means "no talk-up time" on this record meaning don't talk over the instrumental intro cuz it's too cool! However, the ":07" below the title means "you have 7 seconds to talk over the intro before they start singing" which makes the whole thing very confusing!
