    I was able to score this WLP of the RSO when it was first released, and am finally getting around to comparing it with my Monarch copy of the Atco US 1st issue.

    "Like a Rolling Stone", early red vinyl promo with the song split across the two sides (someone at Columbia initially balked at the idea of a six-minute single). A bit beaten up but still plays (and yes, it's currently doing duty as my avatar):

    It's surprising how amateurishly the splitting was done: you can hear Dylan start the third verse as Side 1 fades out, even though the instrumental break seems to be long enough to allow for a full fade during it. Maybe they figured it wouldn't matter because DJs would talk over the fadeout?
