Well…I have tickets for Cambridge Junction in April 22. I hope that it happens. Loved the Furs since 79. Fingers crossed.

Revisiting this album since I've been spinning the new Tears For Fears...and while The Tipping Point is very good, I think the Furs out wrote and out produced them with Made of Rain.

I think the Furs may have out produced TFF, and possibly out performed them. But I think TFF may have outwritten the Furs in this instance. Those TFF songs are really strong, both melodically and lyrically. YMMV.

Just got my tickets for the show in Ottawa in July. Last, and only, time I saw them was in 84. 38 years between shows!

Richard no longer sneers - he seems genuinely happy to be on stage.

Looks like they're touring with X, another great post-punk band that recently released an excellent album after 20 or 30 years!

Pre-sale's going on now with the code RAIN

I didn't realize I needed a code this morning. After frantically searching the internet, I guessed it in 2 tries.

Update on this, the last 3 dates of the recent March tour were postponed AGAIN from Covid. The Apollo Theater show originally scheduled for November 2021, then moved to March 2022, is now pushed to June 2022. Maybe third time's a charm?

Anyway, I did see the benefit show for John Ashton in Woodstock two weeks ago in a tiny (250 capacity) theater. John came out at the end and joined them for the final 6 songs.
