    I have a 606 II. Bought new in 1995. Never spent one cent on it. Incredible sound. TAS once reviewed the 909 and said to get anything better, you need to spend 12 x as much money. Tubey smoothness with punch. This is th Brits at their best. And, when they're at their best, no one can touch them.
