Any delay would be forgiven if QPL including a complete "Crazy Tour" show.

I'm surprised Jazz is on that list. They released the latest reissue last year, coinciding with the 40th ann. So yeah, a box set announcement is puzzling.

Jazz struck me as a surprise too. I like it, but it’s not one I’d expect them to do a set for. I’m wondering if maybe they’re planning to roll that and the Live Killers set into one, which personally I’d find kinda disappointing.

Wonder why they did not put anything out this year, as they never been more popular with the movie doing huge business

Maybe they'll do a release in December, seeing how the Never Boring compilation was announced a month before release it seems reasonable

I'd be surprised if there is enough interesting, unrelased material between Jazz and The Miracle - plus several more albums combined - to fill a single CD.

After Jazz and The Miracle, they'll tackle Flash Gordon for an expanded box set.

This appears to be the real deal. An unreleased Queen doc about coming together for "The Miracle". I can see this being remastered and making it's way into the box set.

I’ll probably pass on this, but I will say The Miracle is a step up from the past few albums. This band never gave up on themselves, and the hits from it are more memorable to me than A Kind of Magic. Of course, it’s all a matter of opinion...

I would love to get a "Raw Sessions" disc for The Miracle. Probably would be even more doctored up than for News of the World, but if the early version of Invisible Man is of any indication, we might have interesting stuff in the fabled "vaults".

Just got confirmation from Greg Brooks that this will happen this year.
Even though this might be the most underwhelming of the possible album-themed Queen box sets (is Flash Gordon the next in the series?), I'm still very much looking forward to it. At least this time they have an excuse for not putting an audio/video live concert in it!

I hope we get a box. I don't understand why the only box that was released was for News of the World and even that had to be imported. There are a relatively small amount of Queen albums and they all deserve a box set. (I will defend Hot Space till my dying breath, I have always enjoyed it)

Dump the vinyl record from the box and reduce the price (based on NOTW) and I could be in.

Awesome! My credit card is ready for its traditional third quarter boxset buying workout!

Yeah, The Miracle probably isn't near the top of many people's list of favourite Queen albums. I guess they are working on it because the sessions produced a lot of music. Remember, they expected this to be Freddie's last hurrah.

What do we think this might contain? Apart from the b-sides and single edits?

I'd buy that version! I'm sure there will also be a 4th disc featuring a compressed remaster of the album...

I hope that's not it. There's very little that's interesting to me there.

I'm disappointed it's The Miracle. I really wanted a Live Killers box. I just can't see what could be exciting about The Miracle era compared to other Queen albums where they could include live stuff too.

Indeed. I am too a big fan of "Hot Space" and a box set featuring outtakes, raw versions and a potential "Hot Space Naked", with arrangements closer to the live versions, would be a dream come true.

I think we are passed that point with Jazz. I'm still pissed about the absence of The Game 40th release. I would welcome a Flash Gordon box if every track demo were to be included. I absolutely love "The Kiss" and "Football Fight" demos.

Here's the silhouette version I found. Looks to be behind the scenes kind of thing. There is also a better produced Red silhouette version as well.

Could you expand on that? It's still widely available from Japanese bootleg shops - how did you think QPL would have any influence or power of a bootleg label on the other side of the world?
