    Most watchable?

    Kill Bill
    True Romance

Pretty much whichever film of his I'm currently watching. They are all a treat. He's one of my favorite directors and I'd find it hard to rank his movies.

Well, I'd probably rank Kill Bill near the bottom. But otherwise, each movie of his that I've seen has been a great ride. Kill Bill is a great ride too, just the style and subject matter didn't appeal to me.

    So far I've seen:

    Resevoir Dogs
    Pulp Fiction
    Four Rooms
    Jackie Brown
    Kill Bill 1 & 2
    Death Proof
    Inglorious Basterds
    Django Unchained
    The Hateful Eight

I thought Death Proof was great. Loved the final shot. I'm going to have to re-watch all these movies someday soon.

Like Killing Zoe (1993) and Natural Born Killers(1994).

Would have preferred QT directing those two.

Reservoir Dogs remains my favorite. His most concise story, and the tension and the performances are incredible.

Agreed. Every scene is a gem, and unlike QT's later films not a wasted motion in any of them.

I mean, RD jumps around a bit, but is still structured more linearly than the disjointed Pulp Fiction (which used that technique to great effect, don’t get me wrong).

I would love a follow-up to the Reservoir Dogs world by QT, with the surviving actors of the first film and some new ones. That would make a great final film for him, bring everything full circle.

QT in Django filming scene looked so cheap. He was good playing a sleazeball in Planet Terror.

Looks like Kill Bill 3 just could be a contender for his last film. Either that or Star Trek, or something else. Apparently he's been in talks with Uma Thurman recently. Would prefer Kill Bill 3 over Star Trek.

    Tenth movie ..
QT has three options .. Mystery movie, Star Trek, and unfinished business with Kill Bill 3. I'll take the mystery movie over Star Trek ( what the). Kill Bill 3 would be amazing with Uma Thurman in it.

Outstanding review in Rolling Stone! Sounds like a real winner. Can’t wait to see the vintage Hollywood sets, pointed out as being very authentic. The review had nothing bad to say, and the reviewer commented it may seem long to some, but that he wouldn’t change a single frame. Unusually positive review. Can’t wait to read comments here after we’ve seen it.

Reservoir Dogs is great... Pulp Fiction left me underwhelmed the day of release, maybe should watch again... Kill Bill is ok... liked Inglorious Basterds quite a bit although ending was stoopid...

Regarding Dogs, I think he tried to copy it in Hateful Eight, Minnie’s being like the small warehouse set up like in reservoir dogs, it didn’t work the same though for me with the actors involved.

That western shoot out at the end of dogs is still great, especially Chris Penn.

Just watched Reservoir Dogs on Amazon and noticed something I hadn't before. When Pink first gets back to the warehouse and first introduces the Rat theory, heretofore unconsidered by Mr. White and of course not mentioned by Mr. Orange, Tim Roth does some great acting. And he draws his gun! These movies definitely reward multiple viewings.

Roth is great throughout the movie.
I wonder if the Actor's Studio has workshops on playing dying gutshot characters.

I pretty much hated the first part of Death Proof, aside from Kurt Russell. I laughed when those 'pretentious little airheads' got their clocks cleaned. I've spent way
too many nights in Austin at hipster taco joints to find their banter entertaining...and they all talk just like Quentin Tarantino! (for some odd reason).
QT's 'female' dialogue writing has always been a little on the weak side. I imagine that he respected Pam Grier enough to let her use "her own voice" in
    Jackie Brown...which worked quite well.
