Question about ABC Movie Star Tunnel marquee title display...

    Something I'd like to know concerning the part of ABC's Star Tunnel movie broadcast title sequence where the title is shown on the marquee (The ABC Sunday Night Movie, The ABC Monday Night Movie, et al.): why did the Sunday opening (the best-remembered of all when it came to that ABC Movie opening) have it to where the last of the stars that dotted the marquee faded out before the title flashed, whereas in the other versions, the title flashed before the last of the tiny stars around the marquee got settled?

    Here is the Sunday version, for a 1983 broadcast of Apocalypse Now:
