Question for Steve about Hoffman radios

    Hi Steve. Picked up a small console tube radio from the 50's manufactured by Hoffman Radio and was interested if your related? Also KLH speakers here in Sun Valley was originaly started by 3 people, one with the last name of Hoffman. Just interested.

    Larry, one of the radio books I have mentions a Hoffman Radio Corporation that was out of Los Angeles. It lists about 18 different models that were manufactured in the late '40s. I'm not sure how complete the listing is so there may have been some '50s models too.

    FM seems to have began appearing on certain radios around 1947. With the Hoffman models it's around 1948 according to the book I have. Do you know the model number of yours?
