DCC Archive Question for Steve - Sonny Rollins & the Contemporary Leaders

    Hello Steve,

    I was listening to my Sonny Rollins "ATCL" DCC gold disc, which I absolutely love. I noticed that the track order is different on the gold CD than on the original LP labels and back cover (as reproduced in the CD booklet.)

    I don't own the original LP, so I had never noticed this before. I was wondering why the order of the tracks were changed, and if you had changed the order on any other DCC CDs.

    Sonny's people wanted a song order change.

    The other Gold CD that had a slight change was The Beach Boys "Endless Summer". In the DCC version, "Surfin' Safari" and "Surfin' USA" were switched so that the album would start off with a higher fidelity stereo track.
