Question on Akai gx630 dss

    Vancouver, WA. State
    My deck is performing as it should but is noisy on recording. I have the tools needed for a repair but lack knowledge. I'm guessing a good start for diagnosing would be transistors ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
