R.I.P. Jeff Beck 24 June 1944 – 10 January 2023*

    On behalf of his family, it is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing. After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.

    From me personally - I've seen every tour except for one since 1972.
    My absolute favorite guitar player ... period.

    Terrible news. From the Yardbirds to the original Jeff Beck Group to 'Wired' and 'Blow By Blow' - the man was a legend. RIP Jeff Beck.

    Oh man, what a legend. His work with The Yardbirds was next level, then onwards on his own, all the while being among the most influential guitarists of his era. I remember Alice Cooper saying at the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame induction that he has never lost the thrill of hearing a Jeff Beck solo. Well put. Rock Heaven has a new sheriff in town.

    One of my favorite things to watch is his salute to Les Paul that shows off his pickless skills on rockabilly and oldies, and this song from that is forever ingrained in my brain as an ode to those that have passed:
