Marie had a great voice. I really like "It Must Have Been Love". Sad news.

I was listening to Dangerous just a few hours ago. Roxette is great and she will be truly missed.

"The Look" is one my favorite singles from the late 80s. Sounds great. I always dug "Joyride" too. RIP.

Amazing that she had a brain tumor, overcame it with aggressive treatment, and then began performing again 7 years later!

Sad. "Look Sharp" and "Joyride" were essential parts of my musical upbringing.

Things will never be the same. Literally.

Very sad news. A good singer in a decent pop band. Too young. RIP.

Very sad to hear the news today when it broke on BBC News, but so pleased I saw Roxette in 2011 on the Charm School tour where she was 100% involved with the gig and singing so well. I can't believe how much of a fight she put up against the brain tumour from 2002 onwards, only being given 20-25% chance of living when originally struck down. RIP to a beautiful voice and lady - a wonderful catalogue of perfect pop songs remain in her memory xxx

My mom had every Roxette album in the collection when I was growing up. I heard those songs all the time. Joyride was a great pop album and I still listen to "Fading Like a Flower" regularly to this day. A pop gem. Marie definitely had 'it' and I'm sorry to hear of her pain. Rest in peace.

She actually died yesterday, and not today.

My favourite song of theirs. One of the best pop songs of the 90s for sure.

So sorry to hear this...…..I remember back in my Junior College days (1987-1989) the activities director arranged for a band to play on campus. It was a two piece (male and female) with a crazy background, several synths, and a pretty cool light show. They played at least three Roxette tunes...…...I miss the 80's at times. RIP Marie, and thanks for the memories.

It’s a shame to hear about, but not surprising.

I knew that she was sick for a long time and you haven’t heard anything in the news recently.

Last week I listened to her solo album Den ständiga resan (The constant travelling) that was nearly completely written by herself.
And it got me wondering how she was doing especially healthwise...
    So sad...
