R.I.P. Nichelle Nichols, Trailblazing Star Trek Icon, Dead at 89 (12/28/1932 - 07/30/2022)

I meant to search for a thread on her earlier and post a RIP. A truly stunning woman and a breakthrough actress and inspiration for for real NASA black women. I liked Star Trek and their Democratically representative cast as well as their peaceful exploration throughout the universe. Though Star Wars series was incredible and very well written and done, I preferred Star Trek.

 

'Star Trek' is definitely the more Sci-Fi based of the two... 'Star Wars' is just space fantasy.

While I like aspects of both of them, I'd say these days I lean more toward ST:TOS.
