Radiohead 7 Television Commercials

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet but Raidohead's collection of music videos 7 Television Commercials was released on DVD today. This was released on VHS around '97 or '98 but it has been OOP for awhile and usually commands high prices on ebay. Radiohead's videos are really some of the best examples of the genre IMO. Fans of The Bends and OK Computer will get a kick of this. They really are like mini movies and after seeing the videos it's hard to hear the songs without thinking of their visual accompaniment. The video for "No Surprises" alone justifies the purchase of this DVD.

 

Found this disc yesterday. Nice surprise to my Rocky and Bullwinkle shopping spree.

If you haven't gotten their Meeting People is Easy DVD yet run out and buy it. Very creative film making.

 

"Meeting people is easy" is a fascinating documentary. It was filmed during Radiohead's world tour supporting their brilliant "Ok Computer" album. It's interesting to see how they react to all the attention from the music press, and the fans. It's also a rare chance to hear them perform the stunning yet unreleased track "Follow Me Around".
