Those Mannix CD auctions smell fishy. The second bidder here seems to have won two previous auctions for the same title, and now several fixed-price listings have appeared.
and Ironically, the one's currently on eBay are all from Melbourne..... It does seem like some skulduggery is taking place here.
I'm definitely on a witch hunt to find one of these discs now, and if I ever find one, i'll throw it up on eBay for a dollar, and see what happens. I could end up financing a nice holiday, or covering my costs plus the postage and being gibbed.
To me, this looks like an "unofficial" release of Richard Clapton's Girls On The Avenue album. And the bids are going crazy! As one of the under- bidders in that auction- interesting observation. If anyone has the genuine article it would be good to know.

Update - now I have seen electric pandas CD..... And I meant to say the album version of Too Young For Promises on Koo De Tah is unique to the album, it has a longer ending. The song only appears on a few compilations and so far the compilations all have the single version.
Last week I saw an Uncanny X-Men CD at Beatniks at Broadbeach. Title: Coz Life Hurts. It was cheap should someone want to hunt it down.
It kind of varies from country to country. It seems to sell for more in the US since it was originally a withdrawn import from the late 80s so it is desirable among Pink Floyd collectors/fans. I'm guessing they aren't too rare over there in Australia? I think this Aussie version is better than the Doug Sax CD remaster from the mid 90s. That's just my opinion.
The original vinyl in Australia was on HMV. The cover was the US 'mask' picture. Because it was a budget release it wasn't available in normal record shops, only milk bars and newsagents.
