Constantly growing blooming, repeated listenings (and time) work wonders when it comes to this band.....

One of my three albums of the year, probably, and one of his best.

Father John Misty - Live at Third Man Records
    8/10
First play and it sounds quite lovely. He can do no wrong at the moment.

    Afro-cuban All Stars - A Toda Something
    7/10
It's outsaying its welcome a little, but has lifted my spirits nicely.

Listened to This Is Big Audio Dynamite this morning for the first time in decades. The first song had me thinking, "So this is Jones' first stab at a song since the Clash?" Monotonous, weak melodies, missed opportunities, uninspired. The rest was alright, and I think I will keep it, but for real--4/10.

Sisters of Mercy's Floodland--3/10 for me; ejected after a few songs; into the trade-in pile. All I need is First and Last and Always.

R.E.M.'s Murmur (I.R.S. Years Vintage series)--wonderful to hear this again after so long. 7/10.

Kiss's Destroyer--what fun! Really great production, 7/10. My favorite Kiss album.

    The Coral - Roots & Echoes 9

This Coral album along with their self titled debut is probably the albums of theirs I play the most. I enjoy every song but I'd pick out Who's Gonna Find Me, In The Rain and Rebecca You.

    Low - C'mon 7

Not the most consistent Low release, but still contains some fantastic songs like Witches, Especially Me and Nightingale.
