Where the heck did THAT come from? Wow. Did someone do some retrofitting to an old RCA reel deck? Makes me wonder about the quality...at that price...

The seller is passing this off as a real reel to reel recorder, evening charging over double retail, and pulling in some sucke... er,, um, buyers.

 

Oh, by the way, it runs 1/8" tape, not 1/4". Very stupid.

 

I guess so they could use cassette heads. Tape speed is 4.75 centermeters per Second.. so I guess that's cassette speed also.
