Thought I'd say what a forum, and hi to everyone

I joined a while back and have been going through loads of past threads searching for much loved vinyl to extend my collection, I haven'd played vinyl for years but glad I've started again, still use cd mp3 but at home vinyl is a breath of fresh air that I suddenly realised I missed.

This place is making me spend, I've never bought so much in such a small space time, but it's all worth it.

I'm still learning about the dead wax and the engineers involved, never realised all this in the past but it really is a pleasure finding something that sounds amazing that I'm blown away.

Thought I'd let you all know what I've picked up so far, some may be questionable but still sound good, waiting for 4 to arrive and watching 40+ plus racking through S/hand shops.

Had fun compiling this while listening to the records, as I say I'm picking up all this info but any coments advice would be welcome:

I never stopped listening to vinyl, but I did stop buying it for over 20 years until recently. Last year I pick up all the Classic Records Genesis lps. In the last couple of weeks I've picked up Wilco's Sky Blue Sky, A Ghost Is Born, and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on vinyl. I always thought the cd's of those sounded very good, but I have to admit that the vinyl is significantly better.

I think this place is fuelling my addiction. Got back into it about 4 months back when a mate bought a lovely spinning cover LP of Led Zepp 111. Ever since then I too have been addicted. About 50/60 secondhand purchases later I have re-caught the bug that had laid dormant for nearly 20 years. Thank God I kept every single one of my LP's I got back in the 80's.

We are all addicted........................denial is futile!!! :agree:

From November last year to May of this year, I bought 493 LPs after about a ten-year layoff from vinyl.

That, my friend, was a near-terminal case of the fever!
