Ordering a speaker refoam kit from the Netherlands, to be shipped to me here in the US. I could pay an extra $12 for Priority "track and trace", or save money having the package sent standard, non-tracking.

Is the standard NL shipping reliable, or should I spring for the track-and-trace?

I'd be more concerned about what happens when it get turned over to the US carrier.
Do you get insurance with the '"track 'n trace," or just that just tell you where the package disappeared?

Be prepared for a long wait if they use Asendia as the shipper.

How are you paying? If you pay by PayPal or buy through eBay, or, for that matter, use a credit card then no matter what the seller says, if they can't prove it arrived at your place, they'll have to refund your money. You do NOT have to pay for track and trace or anything else. The onus of proof is on the seller. Period. End of story.
