I love Townsends, a channel where the guy dresses in 18th century garb and cooks 18th century food. Some of the stuff looks insanely good, especially the barbecue episode.

It's like the secret half channel between the History Channel and Food Network.

Mine... even though it has zero consistent content and looks like most of the video was taken with a GoPro suction cup mounted to my car... which it was.

Andrew Cotter is a BBC sportscaster who apparently mostly announces rugby games. Since there's no sports happening, he's been announcing around the house.

Here's an absolutely hilarious "competition" between his dogs Mabel and Olive, over who can eat the dog food faster:

"... Olive, focused relentless, tasting absolutely nothing..."

One more from Andrew Cotter, a Zoom meeting with the two dogs:

    "913 squirrels chased, none caught..."

Old Apple keynote presentations (MacWorld and WWDC) from the '00s the pre-iPhone ones are amazingly amusing to me there is also something a bit more fun about older Apple than post-Jobs Apple as well.

Thank you. I was having a rough work day and this made me laugh out loud over and over. The whole series so far is brilliant. So very British.

My son introduced me to this channel simply called World War Two. The guy who hosts it releases an episode each week that details events from the war that happened during the corresponding week- meaning that the video released yesterday (July 25) covers events during that week in 1941. It's pretty interesting stuff.

The Colonel Russell Taylor investigation and interrogation is fascinating. The officer doing the interview is so low key and unassuming but brilliantly gets all he needs.
But I never understood why Taylor agreed to go in for questioning. If you were asked to come in for a talk about two murders you committed would you ? Best to lawyer up.

You are right, I never understood that either. Hubris maybe ? Lawywering up means I seem guilty and I don't want to give that impression ? Best bet in such a situation (without a lawyer) IMO is the politicians trademark way of answering questions "I can't remember" "I don't recall"

BTW Did you see the HBO documentary series "The life and deaths of Robert Durst" - OMG

Too many to name! In addition to perennial favorites Tony Hancock and Steptoe and Son, there's live webcam images of places I've gone, like Oxford(the view from Oxford Martin School), INSPECTOR MORSE(filmed in Oxford), Italian singers like Mina and Rita Pavone, Mirielle Mathieu, international comedians Toto' Fernandel, Cantinflas, and Heinz Ruhmann, the old favorite "Eat da Poo-Poo", the list could go on and on.
