That's what said, as well, about the 1995 Avenue Gold Collection. Pretty unbeatable.

Not even tried, it was tough to remove, I'll just put in the gatefold, it's in a poly sleeve anyway.

Mine was a tad tight, but it only took a few seconds of fiddling to get it back in. I have encountered far worse.

Even the 2 non-gold Avenue releases I have are pretty amazing.

Very impressed with my copy of studio 1 soul. Well pressed, flat and sounds very good.

Thanks, I broke down and ordered it Saturday as the positive reviews really swayed me. At $115 shipped figured it was a good deal for 5 LPs.

Didn’t see a mention, so I will. Listened to the Willie Nelson and Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) 7 inch. It’s great. Cool cover of Under Pressure. Little country, little slower. More emphasis on the lyrics. Cool duet between very different singers. Well done. And great sound. Audiophile sound. Booming bass, very full. Pretty packaging and vinyl. Well done

Was cynically curious about that Donna Summer, as that's a very common LP in the used bins: Is it really worth paying $30 for? I've had kinda mixed results with that reissue label...

It sounds pretty good. This is for those who want to replace their old copy, or can’t find a clean copy. As you know Bad Girls is played to the max and it’s a party favorite and it’s getting difficult finding a decent copy. Worth every dollar in my book. And did I mention it sounds, pretty, pretty good.

...glad to hear. I had two other records on that imprint, and they were both kind of indifferent, both in terms of sound quality and packaging. One them boasted of having "Printed labels" on the OBI strip, which I thought was pretty hilarious.

Did this issue replicate the original printed inner sleeves?

Yes it did. So you can sing along. This RSD issue sounds fantastic! The red and blue vinyls are also eye friendly. This was a job well done.

Agree. This was a $5 record for decades. I'm shocked people are paying $30 for the new version.

    Oh, I don't doubt that it's good.

My surprise is Donna Summer records were abundant and cheap for decades; few people wanted them. So seeing a Donna record sell for $30 surprises me the same way if an Olivia Newton John or Sheena Easton rsd sold for $30.

Got you. But as you might know by now, getting a decent original copy of this record is pretty hard.

If anyone is looking for the RSD Jonathan Richman tribute, Banquet records in the UK appears to still have some. They're only a small shop, my order is due to be sent out this week.

    Haven't seen it anywhere else:

    Kenney Jones? :D

Seriously, I guess you would contact the record label? I can't think of anyone else who might be able to send you a replacement.

Got my Plaid Room order today. Not a bad turnaround considering the volume they do, and considering it came via Media Mail.

    Well packaged as always.

My order for Miles Davis Champions wound up getting cancelled. Anyone have any leads on a copy?
