Ive been here a while and decided its time to ask this question.I have a record that has a US Patent number and G.B Number stamped on it. curious on how that effects the value etc.

I have contacted the Patent Office about it, found its a patent number for the "new" design for Vinyl Microgroove records dating back to 1954, but the original patent was submitted in 1949.

My particular one is a Gospel record from an artist named John Webb/Bass. "Down Deep in the Sea". there are other versions out there from different labels different covers and so on , however mine is from Chapel records from Mountain view, CA. possibly 1956.

any info or help would be great.
