Hey. I am thinking about changing my Chord c-line cables to Rega Couple. However my riaa has a 3 meter cable from Chord and Rega does not make cables that long. Would Audioquest Golden Gate be a good alternative? Is it the same sound signature?

I use a Chord Clearway with my Rega P2 Turntable (well from my Phono Pre). Its a great balanced (Meaning sound quality) cable. Really nice warm presentation.

My other cable is a Black Cat Coppertone IC. I use this as well in my system. Its seems to be really well defined in the mids and seems faster on transients, but the bass seems a bit less than the Clearway. I think it may be better defined and not as warm.

Honestly I enjoy both cables and the differences are actually subtle.

    The Clearway is less expensive.

Rega uses Klotz wire in their interconnects...at least they used to.

I use Rega Couple 2, they're made of good basic ingredients and they're well assembled. Rega doesn't make any outrages claims about them and they're priced right.

Fisual Havana XL - use this brand pretty much exclusively these days. Replaced Chord Chorus and Atlas Navigator cables in my system.
