Ren and Stimpy doc premieres at Sundance Jan 28

This one flew under my radar. I'm a big fan of the show, so I hope this is good.

Why is it not surprising that Billy Gibbons is a big fan?

 

Of all the new wave of cartoons I really admired the art and direction of ren and stimpy, sponge bob, and courage the cowardly dog

 

This will likely be pretty interesting considering how renegade and risky the R&S team were initially, but also fraught with controversy considering how disgraced John K has become. I hope it finds some sort of home distribution sooner rather than later
