Ok. Now that AR has been completed and on shelves within the month. Can we rally and petition that Revolver be remixed next? If anyone has line to Giles, a revolver box set is the next logical remix. Its popularity extends above pepper and Abbey road, in most circles as the Beatles most experimental record with the worst stereo mix.

I'm more excited for the outtakes than the remix, tbh.

Yes, "why" what? - The Stereo mix is.. um.. not good.

It could be argued that this and Rubber Soul should be combined and a Super Extended Deluxe be issued.

I am as well - cheers to that. I have heard some - bootlegs and such. But - like the Esher Demos. I think he could demix them and recompile, run it back to his Abbey Road collection on his DAW (even though - the real desk is literally right there).
It couldn't be done AAA, I wish it could, but beggars can't be choosers.

Thread crapping - no doubt. Imagine SS, SS or TNK in 5.1?! That would be insanely awesome.

I don't really think we actually have to petition Apple. It's the Beatles record label, does anyone really think they will
fold up their tent and go home after Let It Be comes out. What else are they gonna do? It's not like they're out the there signing new bands.

Do remind me what's supposed to be wrong with the stereo mix of Revolver.

Me with any deluxe Beatles set announcement. What are they going to give us as outtakes?

Because the stereo mix isn't good. You don't even need to get past the first track to be like "why is the entire band on the left?"

The mono is fantastic, but there's so much going on in these tracks that a good stereo mix done with proper care would be wonderful.

Let's not forget the stereo mix of "Eleanor Rigby" with the first syllable of the first verse being in both channels while the first verse is on only one channel. How did that mistake go through

Revolver could definitely use a stereo remix, sync-ed from the stage tapes. I'd like a wide stereo Revolver, instruments hard right and left and no EQ or frequency extraction stuff (as on the Pepper remix) with the ADT'd vocals centered. The whole point of double-tracking is to make the vocal sound fuller by layering - separating them defeats the purpose IMO.

Oh, and while i'm dreaming - how about a vocals-only on Here, There & Everywhere?

    I agree
I think records should be left as the artist(s) made them - warts and all
they are a snapshot in time
    My opinion, my view
remastering is one thing, remixing another
I have my father's original Capitol U.S. copy of Revolver, several of the later U.S. pressings. a no bar code German copy and an original Parlophone
I also have a copy of "The Alternate Revolver" and two or 3 of the 1987 era CDs
They all sound like "Revolver" to me
    GREAT record

Help, rubber soul, and revolver should be all done together. One big box, 6 cds. 3 remix cds and 3 outtakes cds.

What's with wanting different albums packaged together? I don't get it. Why not just let each record have its own reissue? Does Pink Floyd package Dark Side and Wish You Were Here together in a set? Do the Stones pair up Aftermath and Between the Buttons?

Why would the Beatles put Revolver and Rubber Soul together in the same box?

The only time that should be done, IMHO is when ALL the albums are going in the same box set. I can also see a strong case being made for combining volume 1, 2 and 3 of Anthology all together in one 9-disc box as well = 6 original CDs, 1 CD of bonus tracks, and 2 Blu-rays for audio.
