Are the Springfield albums from the box set mastering?

Damn, was hoping for Alice Cooper's School's Out and Muscle Of Love to be part of that list, as well. I'm in for a couple of the others, though.

Yes, hopefully School's Out and Muscle Of Love is being saved for "Rocktober"? Or some sort of deluxe Alice Cooper Band discography box?

I'm grateful though that "Greatest Hits" is coming. I have a 1974 original and the "unique gatefold" version by Friday Music, but nice to see it get added to the normal yearly lineup. It remains THE essential Alice band release (if forced to pick just one).

Oddly, none of the other titles set for release look too enticing, but maybe that's just because I'm not the biggest fans of those artists (or albums). :p

I also was waiting for School's Out and Muscle Of Love. This is seriously disappointing.

And if GH is being done, what about The Alice Cooper Show?

Pretty sure I'll grab Joni Mitchell and Warren Zevon, though.

Not bad. Zevon and CSNY look good. I never got the Cinco 2 box so maybe will grab El Loco. Heck Tejas too even though I have Cinco one.

And I could definitely use a backup copy of the Rhino Joni Mitchell Blue. That is a for sure purchase. If anyone has not heard it, the Rhino Joni is a Steve Hoffman/Kevin Gray cut and it is fabulous.

I am all in for the two ZZ Top's. Been hoping hoping hoping for those! Thanks for posting. Great news.
Maybe Alice Cooper Schools Out and Muscle of Love for record store day or something. You know they've got to be coming sometime.

Blue is good news for us European folks as the celebrated Kevin Gray cut was never released out here (we got an in-house Optimal lacquer instead).
I'm also thoroughly disappointed to see yet more Alice Cooper and ZZ Top in this series and had been hoping for more mid-period Richard Thompson after Shoot out the Lights.
Also, who the hell wants these greatest hits comps ?!

It would be nice to get an analog mastering of Television's "Adventure".

  12. Buffalo Springfield and Television releases definitely have my interest.

Like the Rocktober reissues are ANY of these “remasters” or just straight reissues of the original analog pressings?

Good gosh, I love ZZ Top but do they have show their bearded faces on every reissue campaign?

I wonder if the Zevon will be new mastering? The last KG mastered one was a rare suckage of a reissue.

Is the Buffalo Springfield-Again reissue available in BOTH mono AND stereo? So far have only seen the mono version listed.

    Not to complain....okay, I will.

Joni Mitchell is always welcome but wondering why there's another reissue of Blue? I do wish they'd start looking at some of her other titles. Even if we're just sticking with pre-jazz tangent Joni, For The Roses is in dire need of a remaster/reissue.

Warren Zevon's self-titled LP is readily available via Music On Vinyl for less than what this Rhino reissue is selling for. Sounds great, too.

...remember when the Little Village CD was in every cut-out bin in town? Do people all of sudden want it now?

I'm in for ZZ Top as well. I bought the green vinyl Tres Hombres last year, but somehow my dog, under the influence of some heavy duty prednisone, decided to chew the corners of the jacket. Along with my MFSL Cars.

Coincidentally, I picked up a copy of BB King's Live and Well (vinyl VG+) at a thrift for .25 cents that has the same exact chew marks, and I like that album the best of the three.

My favorite release from last year was John Prine's s/t. Luckily the dog missed that one.

Aretha’s Gold is a KG cut. Don’t have any other version to compare to, but enjoying the sound. Pressed perfectly.

I’m in for Joni & CSNY. May have to get that Aretha, too, since the 45rpm reissue is way out of my price range.
