wow. Well, that means the entire Creedence show will be in there. Pleasantly surprised John gave the ok.
The entire, real, no substitute CSNY show? I'll believe it when I listen all the way through with my own ears. Forgive my cynicism.
I'd be curious what else TYA played that night, but I'm betting their set wasn't taped.

And still it will be missing Mastermind and Gypsy Woman from the Hendrix set. At least they are available on the bootleg market.

I foresee some forum members asking for a 96 vinyl edition.

Really? I didn't see any price there (yet). Btw, just saw there also will be a 10-disc and a 3-CD set edition for lesser cash obviously.
[Edit:] Just checked the 'pre-order now' button for the big set. Wow. Bad time for me being that broke. :sigh:

    Way too much. Ridiculous price.

However, i might buy the 10 cd version, if it includes the Keef Hartley Band's set.

Outstanding! I'm not even hugely interested in this from a musical standpoint but I love when archival material is released in a massive box set like this.

Alright, I calmed down and re-read some things. Even missed out this in the OP first:

So, apart of 800 bucks 'worth' that giant set is even very (I mean VERY!) limited. 100% impossible for me to buy it.
Okay, I'll take the 10-disc set instead then. Hope that one doesn't repeat too much tracks from the 40 Years On: Back To Yasgur's Farm set...

By the way, I think someone predicted the exact limited number of 1969 in an older Woodstock thread.
The guy who did that should win one copy of the big set.^^

Looks like a cash grab to me as all this material could fit on a few BR discs at much less cost.

If it is indeed the whole set, the Hendrix two tracks sung by Larry Lee finally get an official release, I don't think those have ever been available?

I tried to order and couldn't do it. I got a message "Failed to load checkout. Please use a different browser." I got this with both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

It's a measure of how optimistic that price is that at half the price ($400) it would still look steep. But the limitation is fewer than 2000 so I think it's likely to sell out. Still, I can't help reflecting that the legendary Grateful Dead porch crusher (30 Trips Around The Sun) cost $100 less than this and had over twice the CDs.

It would be nice to have some of the complete sets of some of the artists I enjoy but that is too expensive for my blood.

I can only hope some of the artists release complete individual sets like some of them did a few years ago.

I hope the 10 disc set will be available through retailers and in the UK. I don't want to take the customs hit on ordering from the US. It also needs to dip (considerably) below the £100 mark.
