So apparently this is happening as per floydpodcast post on FB.

Just 5.1 or new stereo remix too?

Nice to see early solo Gilmour get some attention, as he ignored those 2 albums on the 2006-2016 tours. Maybe throw in the VHS concert as a bonus.

These are good news! Let's hope they include some extra tracks.

Great news especially for the Rick album, that's been OOP for ages. Hopefully there'll be a reissue of the original stereo mix, too.

Plus, it's Steven Wilson, and that means you'll get to hear all the seams and you'll know exactly which sections are the same piece of tape for the backing track. My heart broke when I heard his remix of Tarkus and he didn't fix all the tape slice in the Iconoclast section. Just an afternoon with an envelope shaper and time stretch and that section could sound natural. My heart broke even further upon hearing the first Crimson album in 5.1 (warning I'm not a fan at all) and noticing which vocals were on which tracks, because Greg Lake would sing and suddenly it's like this big axe came and chopped him in half vertically so there could be one of him in the FL and one of him in the FR.

I’m really hoping that might mean a stereo remaster of Wet Dream. My interest in surround mixes is waning, and I don’t know that either of these are really begging for a surround mix, but I’d love to see Wet Dream reissued.

Wet Dream is a great album for him to tackle — looking forward to it.

Really looking forward to both of these, particularly if there are standard stereo remixes.

Hopefully he'll do the same for Broken China as well?

    Stereo mixes as well?

    Hope so

Good news. Hope this leads to a reassessment of Broken China too.

I think the only track from "Wet Dream" I have heard before is "Holiday". So, it would be great to finally hear the album.

I’ve been wanting to explore these albums for a while and this will definitely put them in my listening radar. Surround mixes are always welcome!

    Why not?

The Animals remixes blow away the original ones

I'm not familiar too much with Wilson or Porcupine Tree, but does this guarantee official releases?

No, it does not. Wilson apparently remixed the entirety of Guns N' Roses' two albums Use Your Illusion I & II for multichannel/Dolby Atmos, and yet only one song he worked on, "November Rain (2022 Version)" with new orchestra overdubs, was released in stereo only

Looking forward to the Wright album. My copy was a misprint with side one on both sides.
