    • Ringo's first 1963 Ludwig Oyster black pearl three-piece drum kit that he used in over 200 performances and recordings between May 1963 and February 1964, including for hits such as "Can't Buy Me Love" and "All My Loving." Paul McCartney also used the set on his first solo album, "McCartney." $300,000-$500,000.
    • Lennon's 1964 Rose-Morris Rickenbacker with a fire-glow sunburst finish that he played during The Beatles' 1964-1965 Christmas shows. He made a gift of the guitar, known as the "Beatle-Backer," to Starr in 1968. $600,000-$800,000.

wow! I'm excited to see if these things actually go for that much.. Very cool though

Why does he auction this stuff? He doesn't need the money.
Again someone needs to open the official Beatles museum,
As John once said, "cmon Paul!"

The Rose Morris Rick, without batting an eye. And I would play it! That's what it was made for!

I think the Rick and the Ludwigs will fetch a good amount each. Although the Rick is not one of the two John used frequently, he still used it, kept it in his home studio at Kenwood, and is still one of his Ricks!

I got a Fireglo 350 Rick because of it!

Hard to believe that Zak wouldn't want that Ludwig kit, just for the heck of it.
I've got lots of my Dad's stuff, tools, uniform, etc. Not that I use them often, but they were his and remind me of him.

He played 4-piece kits. Is it missing a piece?

Agreed, this stuff belongs in a museum, not in some rich DBag's personal collection that no one will ever get to see or enjoy, scattered all over the world.

...custom painted and monogrammed bedroom furniture, an Empire style dining table and chairs, a Gothic Revival mahogany bookcase, a Lalique “Soleil” ceiling mount light fixture, a Loys-Lucha enameled light fixture, an antique Louis XV wall mirror...

Yard sales of the rich and famous.

I find it VERY funny that in this video, they show a bootleg 45 sleeve - Money/Sure to Fall (from the Decca Audition). Oops?

This stuff should be in a travelling exhibit of memorabilia form the 4 Beatle parties. Just like Bowie's exhibit.

Besides, it's more lucrative travelling and people actually get to see the stuff instead of it hiding away in the vault of some multi-millionaire.

The bigger question for me is: Will Ringo sign the White Album?

    Bargain!

I'm not buying it and I'm not buying the white album again even if it is the first edition.
He should donate it to that guy who's been buying up all the white albums and opening a shop with them in it or something.
