    She's the 'girl from Equador' on Was (Not Was)'s Out Come the Freaks and a (really) big influence on Madonna

    Don Was said Sleep it off was the best album he produced

    I LOVE her stuff. Drive My Car, Blame It On Disco, Disco Clone, Don't Be Greedy, there's an attitude and humour to her stuff that I really enjoy. Her records say more about Disco than almost any others, not always good things either. A one-off.
