As someone who has watched the match game on Amazon prime , that is the Wildest version of match game I have ever seen. I'm surprised this was even allowed on tv
The editing was horrible, but wow....that reconstruction of the set is nothing short of mind blowing!

Repost - Norm Macdonald from 2011 — WTF with Marc Maron Podcast Great interview. You can download it free for a limited time.
For anyone wanting Norm's book who doesn't want to pay $200 on eBay, it's now back in stock on Barnes & Noble (and probably everywhere else) for $15.99. Based on a True Story|Paperback Or you could always send your best offer to this guy: Based on a True Story: A Memoir by Norm MacDonald (Hardcover, New) 9781443414296 | eBay
This book is a masterpiece, it's not a memoir but a comedic novel, half-based on Norm's life. It's incredibly creative and funny.
I loved his "Joe Camel" riff on Dennis Miller Live! He was like a little boy uttering his first obscenity knowing it was something he should not say but enjoying every minute of doing so. A funny, funny man gone too soon.
I seem to have gotten over feeling strange about watching him on Norm Macdonald Live again, now that he's not around. That title got old. Many of his guests are gone too, so it is a bit bittersweet when you think of it. And you always have an ear out for whenever he speaks about death. One thing that stuck in mind is Macdonald's idea of heaven. It's him looking down and watching his friends who didn't make it get a******d by the devil. The weirdest thing is watching something so current and by its nature, dated, as a video podcast, because whether you like it or not, you become so aware of the passing of time and your own temporal existence.
B&N still says that it "will be available for shipping on October 15th", same as when I ordered a copy.
I saw a funny clip of David Spade talking about how impossible it was to be around Norm because he was so crazy. Spade: "Hey Norm! I tried calling you." Norm: "You DID? On the PHONE??"
