I discovered the Detroit Cobras when they opened for X in 2008, and caught them a lot of times since.

    RIP
Great singer and personality.........and interpreter of obscure garage and soul.

She was amazing. One of my favorite bands from the 2000s and a lot of that was from her vocals. What a fantastic voice!

Heartbroken might be a bit of an exaggeration about this but I loved this band. I saw them at least 10 times and Rachel was no stranger to partying. But…I never saw her put on a bad show no matter what state she was in.

The Cobras were Rachel and Mary Ramirez. I can only imagine what Mary is going through now. This really sucks.

Such a great band, such a great performer. “Life, Love, and Leaving” is just a classic. Very, very sad news.

Well usually when they don't say, it's drugs and/or suicide.
