I imagine Riverdance isn't overly popular around here, but I dig the OST. There's something about it that warms my Jethro Tull/Songs From The Wood-loving bones. I'm wondering if this has ever been released on vinyl.

Never released on vinyl, only CD. I always looked at Riverdance as a piece of folk music rather than a stage show. That was Bill Whelans roots as a folk composer and producer working with the likes of The Dubliners, Planxty, Andy Irvine & Davy Spillane, Patrick Street, Stockton's Wing.

  3. I assume never on vinyl because all that stomping would make the record skip.

Whatever it's called, it's some intense technical stuff in places. Breathtaking live.
