    Far from musical geniuses, Coven were mere copyists, with the added burden of having a sub-par vocalist.

    This is the original version of "One Tin Soldier," which is several orders of magnitude superior (and was also a Top 40 hit, though it charted a few places lower than Coven's cover):

    Some are taking a broad definition of "marching music" that basically includes only the drum cadences that are typical of it, and no other "music" per se.

    Therefore, I will follow suit with this (the last minute or so):

    Doesn't really answer the question but was the first dumb song that popped into my head. Still remember kids singing and doing the march for it when I was in school.

    I'm no expert on marching music, but the drums (by Phil Collins) at the end of the studio version of "She's Waiting" sound like it to me.
