    Indie rock legends The Smiths were also close to that 80s rockabilly revival too. They often fused Elvis’ Marie is the Name into their live sets. But once Morrissey went solo he had some even stronger rockabilly vibes thanks to Polecats guitarist Boz Boorer (see @Haristar ‘s post above) joining his band:

    Sonny Burgess the old Sun Recoding artist is a vastly under rated rockabilly star. Check out Sadies Back in aTown. He rocked till the end check out his take on Bigger Than Elvis.
