Hopefully the training montage is extended with newly found footage so that it now makes up 85 minutes of the film's runtime.
Well it’s 91 minutes now( IMDb). So losing six minutes. Don’t mind the robot scene myself. Nothing being added, just subtracted.
First movie I watched in the theater with friends, no adult supervision. First record I bought from my own saved up allowance, still own it. Ah, the memories......
Maybe it's because I was an Italian kid growing up in Dirty Jerz when these movies came out, but I always loved the Rocky movies! I was 16 when IV was released and I loved it! I'll definitely be checking this out.
I love Parts I-IV. Part I is an all-time classic film. Two is a great sequel. 3 & 4 move to comic book territory and I love them. I am not sure what he is taking out of IV besides the robot. Seems kind of pointless to me.
I was 18 and saw it opening night the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I'd come home from college for the holiday and a high school friend and I who went to a different college saw it with me. Stallone was coming off the huge success of "Rambo" and was really at his commercial peak. We thought the movie was... meh. I think we had high expectations and the end result just wasn't very good. That was the night my friend told me she thought my best friend - who she'd dated toward the end of our senior year of HS - was gay. And she was right!
I love Rocky IV. I have zero issue with Paulie's robot. Rocky had money coming out of his ears then. Why not buy some toys for himself and his fam?
Yeah, that would be great. If they can, I hope they also increase the screentime for the Enterprise docking in the first Star Trek movie. I could watch that scene all day. Or maybe it just feels like it.
The robot was essential if for no other reason than to see the look on Apollo's face when it rolls into the dining area while he and Rocky are talking, followed thereafter by "What the hell is that?"...
