Get Off Of My Cloud was actually the song vote winner but they played Sad Sad Sad as well.

I think the difference is more apparent in Ronnie.

It’s funny, booze definitely loosens you up as a guitarist, but it’s depressant effects affect your conscious and subconscious choices in note selection and muscle memory. You play looser, but certainly not sharper.

Keith’s Denver solo on “Sympathy” was one of the greatest solos I have ever heard live by anyone in my 50 years of concert going. Incredibly intense and nasty. I did not expect anything nearly that great from him.

I would too if I felt repressed or had been waiting to see my favourite band for 3+ decades!

Ok ok. They've proved to everyone they're still a viable live act. Now its time to start planning their TV Christmas Special!

Well as you may know the Pope declared Keith Richards was God about 40 years ago!

That was something that I noticed a lot at the Philly show as well. Other subtle things (a lot of grinning/laughing between Keith and Ronnie, a playful slap on the back from Mick to Keith, Mick standing in front of Charlie making him laugh). God bless them and I hope I have another opportunity to see them again as well.

@SoundAdvice I know I mentioned that in the post above your post. Apparently, I edited my post at the same time you posted after I saw a corrected set list from last night.

South America goes nuts for Stones visits on 2-3 subsequent tours. 2016 was 21 years after their first 1995 SA tour.

The Stones switched up opening acts a lot on the '81 tour. Seattle got the Greg Kihn Band and the J Geils Band. If any opener can give the headliner some competition J Geils surely can...they were on fire and The Stones were a blast that night too!

The Beave My Wife Is My Life! And don’t I forget it!

I initially thought that too, but when my wife and saw them in Idaho back in 2006, and this was after Keith ‘s accident, the did rock hard! And while I was watching them I asked myself that question, “are they playing better right now then 69, or 72? And the Synergy that was coming off that stage, watching how phucking HARD Charlie was whacking that snare drum, I had to admit that what I was seeing was better than the older tours, and it was.
The Synergy was just downright lethal. And that synergy was not there in that quantity back in the old days.
Man I hope they release a blu Ray set with multiple concerts from this tour this Christmas season.

Have any of the 2018/2019 shows had cranes/extra cameras?

Even if they kept all the raw screen/b-roll footage, the end product with be static band shots similar to the Leeds 1982 official video.

It might be different if you are actually there but the recent vault releases of more recent shows don't do much for me.

I am sure if we ran a poll more people would favor 1969 or 1972 over a show from the current tour.
